Assists for Williams, Lichaj and Ream in England
[AMERICANS ABROAD] Danny Williams, Eric Lichaj and Tim Ream, all former members on the U.S. national team now looking to resurrect their careers in England's second level, play keyed roles as their respective clubs earned midweek results
in England's League Championship.
Williams, who moved to England from German club Hoffenheim over the summer, started his second straight game for Reading and assisted on Adam Le Fondre's winner in stoppage time as the Royals beat Leeds United, 1-0.
Lichaj, who moved from Aston Villa to Nottingham Forest over the summer,
fed Darius Henderson for the equalizer in a 2-2 tie with Kei Kamara's
Ream set up Chris Eagles for the equalizer in Bolton Wanderers' 2-2 tie with Derby County.
