Wright hat trick spearheads win over Rayo Vallecano

[U.S. UNDER-17 MEN] The USA under-17 national team got a hat trick from Haji Wrightand beat Rayo Vallecano's '97 team, 4-2, to complete its stay in Madrid. The U-17s, who earlier tied youth teams from Las Rozas (2-2) and Real Madrid (1-1), finished unbeaten on the team's first foreign trip.

Wright, a product of the LA Galaxy academy, also set up Alex Zendejas (FC Dallas Academy) for the fourth U.S. goal against Rayo Vallecano, one of the top teams in the Madrid area.

Coach Richie Williams started three European-based players against Rayo Vallecano: Daniel Barbir (Manchester City), Luca De La Torre (Fulham) and Joshua Perez (Fiorentina).

Christian Pulisic (PA Classics) and Joe Gallardo(Monterrey)scored against Las Rozas and Pulisic scored against Real Madrid.
