[FLORIDA-SOUTH CAROLINA: Women] No. 17 South Carolina became the first SEC team to win back-to-back games at Florida when it beat the No. 12 Gators, 2-1, on a header from Taylor Leach in the 109th minute.

Freshman midfielder Chelsea Drennan recorded her sixth assist of the season on the goal, tying Kayla Grimsley’s freshman record for most assists in a season.

South Carolina made their first opportunity of the match count in the 38th minute as redshirt senior defender Christine Watts served a ball to the penalty spot that forward Bay Daniel guided inside the right post.

Freshman striker Savannah Jordan equalized for the Gators with under a minute remaining in the half when she scored on a rebound for her 12th goal of the year.

The loss ended Florida's 12-game unbeaten streak in overtime games (seven wins and five ties).
