[STANFORD-ARIZONA STATE: Women]Stanford's record 44-match winning streak in conference play and its 73-match unbeaten streak at home ended Sunday night when it fell to Arizona State, 1-0.

A 25-yard shot from Sara Tosti into the upper right corner produced the game's only goal in the 24th minute and Chandler Morris made seven saves to hold off the Cardinal.

"Honestly, I don’t think it’ll be replicated," Stanford head coach Paul Ratcliffesaid of the streaks. "Too many good teams with tremendous talent and too many strong coaches in the conference. It’s so hard to do, and I’m surprised we’ve done it for that long. I really am. I realized every day when we were playing, I knew there was an opportunity we could lose because there were so many good teams."

Sun Devil head coach Kevin Boyd became the all-time leader in career wins (61) at Arizona State with the win.
