[CALIFORNIA-WASHINGTON: Men] No. 1 California had to settle for a 1-1 tie with No. 4 Washington in a Pac-12 battle of unbeaten teams before a season-high crowd of 1,038 fans in Berkeley.

Unbeaten Teams:
10-0-0 Dayton
9-0-1 Milwaukee
7-0-2 California
7-0-3 Washington
6-0-3 Notre Dame

Connor Hallisey scored on a free kick from about 30 yards to give Cal the lead in the 21st minute, and the Bears led until the 85th minute when James Moberg’s corner kick found Taylor Peay for the tying goal on a header.

“I just tried to put it in the mix,” Hallisey said of his free kick. “If it happens to go in, it happens to go in. It worked out well for me.”

Cal's record now stands at 7-0-2 (1-0-1 in the Pac-12). The Huskies are 7-0-3 (1-0-1 Pac-12).
