[MILWAUKEE-GREEN BAY: Men] Green Bay handed No. 25 Milwaukee its first loss in 11 games with a 2-1 decision on Sam Krenzien's golden goal to capture the Chancellor’s Cup on Tuesday evening at Engelmann Stadium. Goalie Kyle Ihn had kept the Phoenix in the game, stopping Laurie Bell's penalty kick in the first half, one of 13 saves.

Krenzien’s game-winner came in the 106th minute when he collected a loose ball and fired a shot that took a deflection off a Panther defender and bounced into the back of the net.

The win was Phoenix coach Dan Popik’s first Horizon League victory of his career and helped improved his squad to 6-2-3 overall. Goalie

Milwaukee owned a 10-4 advantage in shots in the first half, but Ihn stopped Bell's spot kick, diving to his left to gobble up the low shot in the 15th minute, and made a save on Aaron Horvat's open shot in the 42nd minute.

The Phoenix was able to hold the Panthers scoreless until the 71st minute when Rami Younes fed Bell to give Milwaukee a 1-0 advantage.

But Green Bay came right back, and Lawrence Talery hit the crossbar just over a minute later. Two minutes after that, it was awarded a penalty that Sabastian Xiong converted to even the score at 1-1.
