[ACC: Women] Icelandic international Dagny Brynjarsdottir’s golden goal gave No. 3 Florida State a 1-0 victory at Syracuse that kept it unbeaten. U.S. international Crystal Dunn scored a pair of goals, her 10th and 11th of the season, and Amber Munerlyn had a goal and an assist as No. 6  North Carolina beat N.C. State, 3-0, for its fourth straight win.

The win kept the Seminoles (11-0-3 overall and 6-0-2 in the ACC) unbeaten on the year, running their streak to 14 games, tying the record set last year when FSU opened the 2012 campaign with 14 straight victories.

The Tar Heels, who outshot the Wolfpack 26-1 and had a staggering 20-0 edge in corner kicks, improved to 11-2-0 overall and 5-2-0 in the ACC.  They have already exceeded their win total from a year ago when they entered the NCAA Tournament  at 10-5-2.
