Bruins hand another opponent first defeat

[UCLA-CALIFORNIA: Women] For the second consecutive week, No. 2 UCLA handed an opponent its first loss of the season, beating No. 13 California, 1-0, in Berkeley on Sarah Killion's first-half goal.
 
The Bruins dominated the first half, outshooting the Bears by a 8-1 margin. The only goal came in the 27th minute came off a set piece when Rosie White played a short corner kick to Caprice Dydasco, who sent it into the box to Killion, who one-timed the ball past Cal goalkeeper Emily Kruger for her first goal of the season.
 
The win gave UCLA a weekend sweep in the Bay Area of Cal and Stanford and its leads the Pac-12 with 13 points and a 4-0-1 record.

Last week, the Bruins handed Washington State its first of the season.
