[NASL PREVIEW: Week 12] By the time the first-year New York Cosmos play FC Edmonton on Sunday, they could have clinched a berth in the NASL Soccer Bowl if the results of Tampa Bay and Atlanta Saturday go their way. But they'll wrap up the fall title for sure with a win in their home finale.

"Edmonton definitely wants to come at us 100 percent and take three points off us, especially coming off a loss," said Cosmos coach Giovanni Savarese. "We need to be prepared and the players will be. This is our last day at home. It is going to be a special day for us and for our fans."

The Cosmos come into the game with a five-game winning streak and eight-game unbeaten streak, but a result won't be necessary if Tampa Bay loses to San Antonio at home and Atlanta fails to win at Ft. Lauderdale on Saturday.

The Silverbacks will host Soccer Bowl 2013 on Nov. 9.
