[BIG TEN: Women] Nebraska claimed the Big Ten title, its first regular-season championship since 2000, with a 3-1 win over Indiana to cap off Senior Day in Lincoln. The game featured a goal by goalie Emma Stevens for the Huskers, who extended their current win streak to six games and improved their  regular-season record to 15-3-1, marking the highest win total since 2000.

Mayme Conroy gave Nebraska the lead with a goal from 12 yards out --  her eighth goal of the year -- but IU replied through Lisa Nouanesengsy's penalty -- her 10th goal of the season -- less than two minutes into the second half.

Freshman Jaycie Johnson's 10th goal of the year gave Nebraska the lead again, and with heavy winds and rain causing havoc for players and fans, Emma Stevens scored after her high bouncer evaded the Indiana goalkeeper Shannon Flower and found the back of the net for the first score by a goalkeeper in Nebraska soccer history.

Nebraska will make its second Big Ten Tournament appearance starting Wednesday on the campus of the University of Illinois in Champaign, Ill.
