Nigeria and Argentina complete final four
[UNDER-17 WORLD CUP] Nigeria and Argentina joined Mexico and Sweden in the semifinals of the Under-17 World Cup with wins on Saturday.
Taiwo Awoniyi scored both goals to lead Nigeria to a 2-0 win over Uruguay, the 2011 runner-up to Mexico, and set up a date with Sweden on Tuesday. Awoniyi, who was
playing in place of injured star Success Isaac, took Nigeria's total to 20 goals in five games.
Early goals from Joaquin Ibanez and Rodrigo Moerira gave Argentina a two-goal lead and it held on for a 2-1 win over Ivory Coast after Franck Kessie's penalty kick cut the lead in half with 13 minutes to play.
Argentina plays Mexico in Tuesday's other semifinal.
