On the eve of the biggest game in the Portland Timbers' short MLS history, "Tifo: Inside the Timbers Army" offers an inside look at why the Portland-Seattle rivalry is the biggest in MLS: the size and fervor of their fans, in this case the Timbers Army, Portland's independent supporters group.
The size and fervor extend to their tifos, the center piece for the documentary by Nick and Colin Barnicle -- sons of the well-known Boston journalist Mike Barnicle -- that examines what goes into the making of a Timbers Army tifo.
