Americans Jozy Altidore, Michael Bradley, Clint Dempsey and Landon Donovan
are among the nominees for the Men's Player of the Year, while six Americans -- Morgan Brian, Sydney Leroux,
Alex Morgan, Hope Solo, Christie Rampone, Abby
Wambach -- are on the shortlist for Women's Player of the Year.
Tim Howard is up for Goalkeeper of the Year, LA Galaxy's Bruce Arena and Klinsmann are nominees for Coach of the Year, while Mark Geiger and Jair
Marrufo are nominees of Referee of the Year.
Goals by Altidore and Brek Shea are among those in the running for Goal of the Year.
Final votes in each of the six categories will be tallied by mid-December, with three finalists elected in each category. Winners will be announced by the end of the year.
