[AMERICANS ABROAD] Terrence Boyd scored his 11th goal of the season in all competitions on an easy tap-in for Rapid Vienna in its 2-1 win over FC Thun that kept it in the hunt for a berth in Europa League knockout stage.

Former D.C. United player Branko Boskovic had the other goal for Rapid, which needs to win at second-place Dynamo Kiev in their final group game to advance to the round of 32 next year.

Aron Johannsson
played the first 80 minutes for AZ in ts 2-0 win over Maccabi Haifa that clinched a berth in the knockout phase for the Dutch club.

was in goal for Tottenham as it traveled to the Arctic Circle, where it beat Norway's Tromso, 2-0, to clinch first place in Group K.

The win at least temporarily eased the pressure on Spurs manager Andre Villas-Boas after the club's 6-0 loss to Manchester City.
