[SPORTING KC-REAL SALT LAKE: Referee] Hilario Grajeda, who refereed the 2013 MLS All-Star Game in Kansas City, will return to Sporting Park to referee Saturday's MLS Cup final between Sporting Kansas City and Real Salt Lake. Here's are some stats on the 2013 Referee of the Year.

23.
Grajeda refereed 23 games in 2013, tied with Baldomero Toledo for the most in MLS (regular season and playoffs). He did three RSL regular-season games, one SKC regular-season game, and his one playoff game was the second leg of the Portland-Seattle series.

4.
Grajeda issued four red cards in 2013, most notably a straight red to Seattle's Osvaldo Alonso after the Cuban elbowed Portland's Will Johnson in the Sounders' regular-season meeting with the Timbers.

2.7.
Grajeda issued an average of 2.7 yellow cards a game in 2013, the third fewest of any MLS referee who did 15 or more games.

1.
Grajeda did one Sporting KC-Real Salt Lake game in 2011 when Sporting KC won, 2-0. Grajeda sent off Sporting KC midfielder Roger Espinoza, now at Wigan in England, early in the second half.
