[THE DRAW] The USA was drawn with Germany, Ghana and Portugal, all familiar World Cup foes, in what is its Group of Death. At G4, it will have the worst travel schedule, including a trip to Manaus in the Amazon, the venue every team dreaded. For the complete schedule.

    This is a huge challenge for the US. They have to play their A game to move on. I see the first two games as critical. A win and a loss is minimum. 2 ties and I see them out. Probably the first 15 minutes against the horses of Ghana will be telling. Good luck USA.

    G2 or 3 is a worse position. In general, it's best to play a superpower last in the group.

    If I were on the team I would relish the chance to go after Ghana again.

    This looks like the Group of Death in this World Cup. What a draw. At least they will get a shot at knocking off Ghana. They are due for a good result against Ghana.

    If USA gets past Round 1, Round 2 is as easy as it gets. Afterall, many hear say that African teams dont do good at World Cups Seniors, correct??
