[MLS COMBINE] Patrick Mullins, the 2012 MAC Hermann Trophy winner and Soccer America Player of the Year and a favorite for the 2013 awards, is among the 50 college seniors, all from Division I programs, invited to the 2014 adidas MLS Player Combine Jan. 10-14 in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.

Mullins is one of five players who will be at this weekend's Men's College Cup along with three from New Mexico -- Costa Rican Michael Calderon, Kyle Venter and Ghanaian Michael Karafi -- and Grant Van de Casteele of Notre Dame.

Reflecting the growing international flavor to the combine as more and more players either leave college early or bypass the draft as homegrown signings, this year's invitees include a dozen foreign players.

More players will be announced, including Generation adidas signings and youth internationals signed at January's Caribbean combine.
