Manchester City will face Barcelona while Arsenal was paired with defending champion Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League round of 16 draw on Monday. The English giants expected a tough draw as a consequence of finishing second in their respective UCL groups, although City will be the more confident of the two after finishing Group D play with a 3-2 win against Bayern in Munich.

The other draws see Didier Drogba make his return to Stamford Bridge as Turkish champ Galatasaray lines up against Chelsea, Real Madrid meets German giant Schalke, Borussia Dortmund faces a cold trip to Russia to play Zenit St Petersburg, Manchester United heads to Greece to face Olympiakos, seven-time champion AC Milan faces a tricky series against the current co-leader of Spain’s La Liga, Atletico Madrid, and finally: French champ Paris Saint-Germain heads to Germany to face Bayer Leverkusen, currently second in the Bundesliga.
