Donovan Not Going on Loan, or to Mexico

Landon Donovan on Sunday quashed rumors linking him with a loan move abroad or even a possible transfer to Liga MX club Atlas, LA Galaxy insider Adam Serrano revealed in a series of tweets on Twitter. Serrano attended a Galaxy town-hall meeting, where the U.S. international addressed the recent rumors.

"I will not be going on loan," Donovan said, adding that he needs a rest heading into a hectic 2014. As for the Mexico rumors, "I never say never but I will not be playing in Mexico. Except for playing in TJ to beat them," he said.
