[VIDEO PICK: Golazos] Germany's Bundesliga, which takes the longest winter break of the major European league, doesn't resume play until the last week of January. To tide over its fans, the league's YouTube channel provides a selection of 18 golazos, one from each of the league's clubs from the first half of the 2013-14 season.

Many are long-distance strikes, which make a volley by Hamburg SV's Rafael van der Vaart and the solo effort from VfB Stuttgart’s Timo Werner stand out.

Schalke 04's goal is a long-distance blast from U.S. midfielder Jermaine Jones.

Among several free-kick goals are a neat side-footed effort Borussia Dortmund's from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Franck Ribery’s dazzling strike for Bayern Munich.
