[MLS 2014 COUNTDOWN] The LA Galaxy's opponent in the quarterfinals of the Concacaf Champions League is just down the road in Tijuana, but the Galaxy flew all the way to Mexico City for a ... closed-door scrimmage with UNAM it lost, 2-1, on Tuesday morning.

Rookie Kyle Venter had the lone goal for the Galaxy, whose trip to Mexico City included promotional events with team sponsor Herbalife. The team traveled to Casa Herbalife, an orphanage for disadvantaged children, where the team made a $25,000 donation on behalf of the LA Galaxy Foundation.
