[COLLEGE MEN] Maryland, the 2013 NCAA Division I men's runner-up, will tour England in March with stops in Manchester and London that will include closed-door friendlies against teams from Manchester United, Tottenham and Crystal Palace.

The Terps will training and compete at the Aon Training Complex (Manchester United), Tottenham Hotspur Training Centre and Beckenham Town Football Club (Crystal Palace).

“This is a trip that has been in the works for many years and I am proud we have made this incredible opportunity a reality,” Terps coach Sasho Cirovski said.  “We have taken on a very ambitious schedule and I am looking forward to seeing how we measure up.  It may be unprecedented to have an American college team play three representative BPL teams in such a short span. These prestigious clubs are showing tremendous respect for the University of Maryland by adding us to their schedule and we are very appreciative for the opportunity.”

The Terps will have the opportunity to attend Barclay’s Premier League matches and training sessions throughout their stay.
