[SOCCER ON THE AIR] MLS Insider, the documentary series produced by eight-time Emmy award winners Hock Films, returns for a second season with weekly behind-the-scenes features around MLS and its players and fans.

Each episode of MLS Insider will be presented by adidas and debut on KickTV, the soccer YouTube network, and anchor a multi-media package on MLSsoccer.com that will include original written features, illustrations, infographics, photo galleries, bonus material and social media content. Episodes will be available on AppleTV and on mobile devices and tablets via the MLS Matchday app.

In 2013, MLS Insider debuted on NBCSN though the viewing numbers fluctuated widely, depending on the time slot.

“The MLS Insider series presents our biggest stars and our League's top stories in unparalleled depth,” said Nelson Castro, Vice President of MLS+, MLS’s premium content group. “We could not ask for a better partner than Hock Films for our flagship program, nor a more fitting sponsor than adidas. People are regularly telling us that Insider is the best video coverage of MLS they’ve ever seen, and that they want more of it.”

The season premiere on the MLS Cup 2013 shootout, “Twenty Penalties, One Champion,” debuted March 6.

MLS Insider also sets the stage for Tuesday’s Tijuana-LA Galaxy match in the Concacaf Champions League quarterfinal series.
