[USL PRO 2014 COUNTDOWN] Former Akron midfielder Aodhan Quinn, the son of former U.S international Brian Quinn, and St. John's goalkeeper Rafael Diaz have signed with defending champion Orlando City for its last USL PRO season that kicks off Saturday.

Quinn recorded 14 goals and 14 assists during his three years at Akron after transferring from Bradley. He was selected by the Philadelphia Union in the third round (52nd overall) of the MLS SuperDraft. Diaz was a four-year starter at St. Johns University and set the all-time school record with 32 shutouts.

Defender Justin Clark rejoined Orlando last season as backup for veterans Rob Valentino and Brad Rusin.

Orlando plays Charleston Battery, the 2012 USL PRO champion, at Blackbaud Stadium on Saturday.
