[AMERICANS ABROAD] For the second time in five days, Aron Johannsson missed a penalty kick and this time it was costly. Defending champion AZ fell to Ajax, 1-0, at home in the semifinals of the Dutch Cup. An important weekend for World Cup hopefuls begins Friday with Edgar Castillo, Joe Corona and Herculez Gomez (Tijuana), Jermaine Jones (Besiktas) and John Brooks (Hertha Berlin) all in action.
