Klinsmann hires Vogts, adds Ramos, reassigns Vasquez

[USA MEN] U.S. national team head coach Jurgen Klinsmann has appointed his former national team coach, Berti Vogts, as a special advisor from now through the World Cup and added U.S. Soccer youth technical director and U-20 coach Tab Ramos to the coaching staff. U.S. Soccer also announced that Klinsmann was "transitioning" assistant Martin Vasquez to other responsibilities within U.S. Soccer.

USA-MEXICO: Beltran replaces Evans

Vogts started for West Germany on its 1974 World Cup championship team and coached Germany for eight years (1990-98). He coached Germany to the Euro 1996 title but his 1994 and 1998 World Cup teams were the only German teams that failed to reach the final four at back-to-back World Cups.

Vogts, who has also coached Scotland and Nigeria, is currently the coach of Azerbaijan, which will face the USA May 27 at Candlestick Park in San Francisco. Vogts will continue as the Azerbaijan coach, but his role at the friendly is unclear. He will work to scout the USA's opponents in the lead-up to the World Cup and in Brazil.

As for the other coaching moves, Klinsmann said U.S. Soccer was "shifting some responsibilities within the technical staff that we believe will put individuals in areas of strength and provide us with the best opportunity to be successful."

    Klinsmann knows that the water up to his neck and out of despair is shaking his own staff in search for solutions but its to late, the WC is only days away and he still don't have the roster need it, I comment few days ago that he should go to Brazil do the best, play the three (3) games of his group and comeback and focus in the Team for 2018.

    K doesn't have to search out advisor, it doesn't matter when the players have more negatives than positives.
