[GUINNESS INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONS CUP] The slate of venues for the 2014 Guinness International Champions Cup is complete with the announcement that Manchester United will play Real Madrid Aug. 2 at Michigan Stadium -- the largest stadium in the United States with an official capacity of 109,901 -- in Ann Arbor, Mich.

A crowd approaching the capacity at "The Big House" could break the U.S. soccer attendance record of 101,799 at the Coliseum in 1984 for the Olympic gold-medal final between France and Brazil.

Some seats may be lost, though, as the field will have to widened to meet international soccer standards. A grass surface will also have to be laid over the turf field.

The some of the money the University of Michigan will earn for leasing the stadium will go toward paying for administrative and training facilities for the Michigan men's and women's soccer programs.

No US side, No Canadian Side, and no mexican side. At the very least having the MLS represented would be great with a home match. Same in Canada with possibily Montreal at the Big O a crowd against real Madrid would pack 60K and well worth adding grass for the match or a pair of
