Cristiano Ronaldo has returned to the Real Madrid squad for the Spanish giant’s UEFA Champions League quarterfinal second leg against Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday. The Portugal captain, who was substituted last week against during Real’s 3-0 first-leg win against Dortmund in Madrid, was rested for Los Blancos’ 4-0 win over Real Sociedad on Saturday, but Coach Carlo Ancelotti confirmed that he would return to the squad for the UCL quarterfinal second leg. It has been suggested that Ronaldo is suffering from a persistent knee injury.
