[AMERICANS ABROAD] Sacha Kljestan, whose season at Anderlecht began so brightly with seven league goals in the first two and a half months and another goal in the UEFA Champions League, finds himself on the bench in the Belgian league playoffs.

He didn't get off the bench as Anderlecht, the two-time defending champion, earned a key 2-1 win at Lokeren on Friday that moved it to within two points of idle Standard Liege. Kljestan has only started four games since the start of the year.

-- Alfredo Morales scored his first goal for Ingolstadt in its 2-1 loss to Paderborn in the German second division.

-- Jermaine Jones helped set up the lone Besiktas goal in a 1-1 tie with Konyaspor.
