[MLS: Week 7] After seven games, the New York Red Bulls, the 2013 Supporters' Shield champions, finally have a win. They got second-half goals from Thierry Henry and Lloyd Sam and survived a late red card to defeat the Philadelphia Union, 2-1. The result left both teams with seven points after seven games with identical 1-2-4 records.

The 78th-minute red card to Ibrahim Sekagya for a handball in the area gave Philadelphia a penalty kick that Sebastien Le Toux converted to bring the Union back into the game.

Philadelphia could not get the equalizer, though, as its winless streak reached five games.

NY: Thierry Henry (Roy Miller, Eric Alexander) 57
