[DOWN ON THE FARM] The aptly named Jonathan Top, on loan from FC Dallas to Arizona United FC, was named the top player in USL PRO as he scored the game-winning goal in a 2-1 victory over Sacramento Republic FC for United’s first win in club history. For more on MLS players on loan.

Richmond’s Kyle Porter (D.C. United) was also named to the USL PRO Team of the Week midfield after his goal sparked the Kickers' comeback to earn a 2-2 draw with Pittsburgh. The Riverhounds were represented by Brian Ownby (Houston Dynamo), who scored and drew a penalty kick against his former team.

Dayton forward Aaron Schoenfeld (Columbus Crew) was also named to the Team of the Week after a strong all-around performance was capped with the Dutch Lions' only goal in 1-0 win on the road against Harrisburg.

Selected in the Team of the Week defense were LA Galaxy II forward Chandler Hoffman (LA Galaxy), Harrisburg’s Pedro Ribeiro (Philadelphia Union) and Richmond’s Taylor Kemp (D.C. United).

-- Despite five starts in the first six weeks of the season, Sporting Kansas City defender Kevin Ellis has been sent on loan to USL PRO expansion team OKC Energy FC. He had the winning goal in Sporting KC's 1-0 home win over Cruz Azul in the Concacaf Champions League in place of Chance Myers at right back. Myers has recovered from the groin injury that sidelined him at the start of the season.

-- The New England Revolution loaned second-year player Donnie Smith to the Rochester Rhinos, the team’s USL PRO affiliate, on a short-term loan. He has two career MLS appearances – both starts – with the last coming on March 15 at Philadelphia.
