Johnson exits Hoffenheim on winning note

[AMERICANS ABROAD] Fabian Johnson had an assist on Hoffenheim's third goal in its 3-1 win over Eintracht Braunschweig, then exited to applause from the home supporters as he played his final game at Hoffenheim before moving to Borussia Moenchengladbach in the summer as a free agent.

Hoffenheim finished ninth in the Bundesliga, two spots ahead of John Brooks' Hertha Berlin, a 4-0 loser at home to Borussia Dortmund. Tim Chandler was suspended and missed Nuremberg's 4-1 loss at Schalke 04 that relegated it along with Braunschweig.

-- Julian Green's Bayern Munich II won the Bavarian Regionalliga (fourth division) title with a 2-0 win over Memmingen. He has not played since injuring his shoulder in the USA-Mexico game on April 2.
