[NASL: Week 6] First place will be on the line in the NASL on Saturday when Minnesota United FC hosts the Fort Lauderdale Strikers at NSC Stadium.

The Strikers are coming off a 4-0 victory over Atlanta that moved them into the lead on goal difference when United dropped its first game of the season with a 1-0 loss at the New York Cosmos on Monday.

"There's still a lot of games to be played, but certainly it's an important match for us, coming off a loss, coming back home and going against the first-place team," said United coach Manny Lagos. "I think there's been a lot of adversity already in this season and this is a big game for us against a team that's firing on all cylinders."

Fort Lauderdale is the most improved team in the NASL after going 2-8-2 and 5-6-3 in the two halves of the 2013 campaign.

"Minnesota is very organized and well coached," Strikers coach Guenter Kronsteiner said. "I'm very impressed with their team.  It's going to be a tough match-up, especially playing in Minnesota.  Our guys are playing with a lot of confidence right now. We just need to make sure we stay focused and continue to work well together, and try to come back with some points."
