[U.S. OPEN CUP]The possible pairings and home teams have been set for the fourth round of the U.S. Open Cup that will mark the entry of the 16 MLS clubs. Among the possibilities: a much-anticipated first clash between the New York Red Bulls and the NASL champion New York Cosmos if the Cosmos beat the Brooklyn Italians in the third round.

First Round: Report
Second Round: Report

If the Cosmos win, they'll play at home. Their third-round game against the Brooklyn Italians at St. John's University will be the Cosmos' first ever Open Cup match.

The fourth round will take place June 10-18, leaving the possibility for a number of early-round weekend games. MLS clubs will otherwise be off for the first two weeks of the World Cup.

Proposed venues for five MLS teams, if they host, are sites other than their home fields.
