[USL PRO] Orlando City improved to 8-0-3 with a 3-1 win over the Charlotte Eagles thanks to a hat trick by Trinidadian midfielder Kevin Molino. The meeting was their first since Orlando beat the Eagles, 7-4, in the 2013 USL PRO final.

Molino scored in the 11th, 30th and 77th minutes before Giuseppe Gentile, on loan from the Chicago Fire, scored his first pro goal for Charlotte.

The game was the first of a four-game homestand for Orlando, which opened up a nine-point lead over second-place LA Galaxy II.
