[MLS: Week 12] The MLS clubs of all five players cut from the U.S. World Cup squad -- Landon Donovan (LA Galaxy), Brad Evans (Seattle), Clarence Goodson (San Jose), Michael Parkhurst (Columbus) and Maurice Edu (Philadelphia) -- are in action on Saturday or Sunday. Their availability for weekend play was still up in the air as they were coming off eight days of intense training.

    hey, and lordy-be, that their availability is or may be up in the air for their MLS gamesthis weekend, having undergone some "intense training" should b e a plus and advantage what with they're in pretty good physical condition and have an upper edge on their teammates, don you think?

    Evans played great. Can't say that I'm sorry to be missing Dempsey and Yedlin, though. I'm glad that they are on the U.S. Team!
