Draw extends winless streak for Eastern giants

[MLS: Week 13] Bradley Wright-Phillips scored his league-leading 11th goal of the season to earn the New York Red Bulls a 1-1 tie at Sporting Kansas City. Neither team will take much comfort from the result as it extended winless streaks for both Eastern Conference teams, first and second in last year's regular-season standings, to four games.

Sporting Kansas City, which welcomed Aurelien Collin back to the defense, started well and got an early goal from Toni, a Barcelona youth product who had his first MLS goal for Sporting Kansas City, but after 35 minutes or so faded.

MLS WEEK 13, Results:
Tuesday, May 27
Sporting KC 1 New York 1.
SKC: Toni (Benny Feilhaber) 9
NY: Bradley Wright-Phillips (Thierry Henry) 50
