[NWSL: Week 9] The expansion Houston Dash won for the first time at BBVA Compass Stadium and made it three wins in a row with a 2-1 win over the Western New York Flash in front of 4,843 fans.

Houston got goals from Tiffany McCarty and Teresa Noyola sandwiched around a goal by Spaniard Adriana Martin for the Flash, which was missing U.S. international stars Abby Wambach and Carli Lloyd, who joined the USA for its pair of matches against France.

-- Goals by Katie Schoepfer and Courtney Jones a minute apart late in the first half gave the last-place Boston Breakers a 2-0 win over the Washington Spirit in front of 1,429 fans at Harvard Stadium in Boston.
