Klinsmann, Maradona, Baggio star in animated golazo montage
[VIDEO PICK: Off the Post] Richard Swarbrick, an artist, filmmaker and YouTube sensation, has created another short animation, this time capturing
classic World Cup goals in exquisite art form. Jurgen Klinsmann's volley for Germany in 1994 against South Korea is part of the brilliant montage that includes, of course,
Diego Maradona's 1986 goal against England.
Pele appears setting up Carlos Alberto in the 1970 final in the 2-minute piece that also
includes goals by England's Michael Owen, Italy's Roberto Baggio and Dutchman Dennis Bergkamp.
It’s a great reminder of the World
Cup's magical potential. What great golazos will go down in history this time?
