[NWSL: Week 11] The Portland Thorns FC set a club record for goals in a game with a 6-1 win at the Washington Spirit. Alex Morganand Jessica McDonald led the Thorns with two goals apiece.

The goals were Morgan's first brace for the Thorns. McDonald, who scored both goals in a four-goal second half, now leads Portland with eight goals.

-- FC Kansas City extended its unbeaten streak to seven games with a 1-0 win over Chicago on Jen Buczkowski's late goal.
