Sweet volleys: Impact's McInerney and Chivas USA's Torres

[VIDEO PICK: MLS Goals of the Week] Montreal's Jack McInerney's backward volley and a rocket on the fly from Chivas USA's Erick "Cubo" Torres are our favorite candidates for AT&T MLS Goal of the Week 16.

Also in the running: a thundering free kick from Toronto FC’s Gilberto, a long-distance blast from Philly’s Danny Cruz and Colorado Dillon Powers' strike on the turn.

Torres' goal, a mirror image of Cahill's goal at the world cup, is my favorite. But I wonder why nobody is questioning the validity of Gilberto's goal. A Toronto player was standing in a clear offside position and blocking the RBNY goalkeeper's vision. Apparently, it was by design. they must have done it in training. Shouldn't that be called offside. It's by definition "interfering with the play." I like to hear the referees' opinions here.
