Two late Press goals earn Red Stars tie

[NWSL: Week 13] Christen Press scored two late goals -- her first two since moving to the NWSL -- to give the Chicago Red Stars a 2-2 tie with the Portland Thorns before 13,084 fans at Providence Park on Friday afternoon.

Forward Jessica McDonald -- with a club record ninth goal of the season -- and defender Sarah Huffman each scored first-half goals to put Portland ahead.

Press trimmed the lead in the 76th minute, scoring off a pass from midfielder Emily Van Egmond. Just six minutes later, Press equalized, intercepting a clearance on the edge of the box and finishing with a well-placed shot inside the top right corner.
