Brazilian press officer suspended
[WORLD CUP: Off the Post] FIFA has handed Brazilian national team press officer Rodrigo Paiva a three-game ban, putting him out of the World Cup,
for clashing with Chile player Mauricio Pinilla at halftime of the Brazil-Chile round of 16 game that Brazil won in a shootout.
Pinilla said he was hit by Paiva, who was
also fined $11,000, and ejected by the referee. FIFA added two games to Paiva's automatic one-game ban, which he served as Brazil beat Colombia in the quarterfinals, 2-1.
