[VIDEO PICK: World Cup] Just before the penalty shootout, Argentina midfielder Javier Mascherano gave a pep talk to his goalkeeper Sergio Romero. In the footage, we can clearly see that Mascherano is saying, “Hoy te convertirás a heroé,” which translates to “today you’ll make yourself a hero."

Perhaps this motivational speech is just what Romero needed, because he went on to save two Dutch penalty kicks and lead his team to the World Cup final on Sunday.
