[SOCCER ON THE AIR] The six-episode docu-series "Los Jets," about a primarily Latino-only high school soccer team in Siler City,  N.C., debuts Wednesday on NUVOtv at 10 pm ET/PT.

The series tells the story of former investigative reporter Paul Cuadros, who launched a primarily Latino-only high school soccer team in a rural North Carolina community that wasn’t necessarily accepting of Latinos but saw its population grow from 2 percent Latinos to 55 percent.

Cuadros’ record with Jordan-Matthews High School includes a North Carolina 1A state championship, five conference championships, and 12 consecutive playoff appearances.

The series is produced by Jennifer Lopez’s Nuyorican Productions. In media interviews, Lopez, the daughter of Puerto Rican immigrants, described the story as "about the American dream."
