[VIDEO PICK] The 2014 World Cup reminded us how passionate Brazilians are about soccer. Here's a look at what Brazilian women have had to overcome to enjoy the beautiful game.

A 39-year-old Brazilian woman discusses how she plays soccer with other women in her village, even though their parents were not in favor for it when they were young and then their husbands objected.

But with Brazilian women’s national team doing well and gaining more publicity within the country, their husbands now believe it is OK for them to play.

Lacking many necessities required to play soccer, these strong Brazilian women keep on playing because of their love for the game.
