[SEATTLE CAMP] Four players from defending NCAA Division I champion UCLA, including Samantha Mewis, who made her full women's national team debut at the Algarve Cup in March, and 2013 Soccer America Player of the Year Morgan Brian, a regular on the senior national team, are among the 24 players U.S. under-23 women’s national team head coach Steve Swanson called in for a week-long training camp that begins Tuesday in Seattle.
UCLA midfielder Sarah Killion and former Wake Forest forward Katie Stengel (who will play in
Germany with Bayern Munich) have also trained with the senior national team this year.
The U.S. U-20s, preparing for next month's Under-20 Women's World Cup in Canada, are training in
Seattle concurrently with the U-23 camp.
