[MEXICO CITY CAMP] U.S. under-18 women’s national team head coach April Heinrichs named a 20-player roster that will travel to Mexico City July 22-28 for an international training camp.

The camp will be the third U-18 event of 2014. The roster is made of players born in 1996 and 1997, many of whom will help form the core of the team that will attempt to qualify for the 2016 U-20 Women’s World Cup. The tournament was originally scheduled to be played in South Africa, but it withdrew as it is hoping to host the 2019 Women's World Cup to which the organization of the 2018 U-20 Women’s World Cup is tied.

MIDFIELDERS (7): Michaela Abam (Texas Rush), Dorian Bailey (Sporting BVSC), Marley Canales (San Diego Surf), Katie Cousins (Richmond Kickers), Kelcie Hedge (Washington Premier FC), Emily Ogle (Internationals SC), Taylor Racioppi (PDA Clash)
FORWARDS (6): Imani Dorsey (Freestate United), Madison Haley (Dallas Texans), Hana Kener (Match Fit Academy), Rebecca Rasmussen (Georgia), Zoe Redei (Eclipse Select), Michelle Xiao (Gretna SC)
