Diskerud's Rosenborg climbs into tie for second place

[AMERICANS ABROAD] Mix Diskerud's Rosenborg moved into a tie for second place in Norway's Tippeligaen with a 1-0 win over Sogndal. Rosenborg is unbeaten in league play for seven games dating back to mid-May.

It still trails Molde by nine points. Molde is still without Joshua Gatt, sidelined following surgery for a second torn ACL. Molde's backup keeper is 19-year-old Ethan Horvath.

and Herculez Gomez, who played together at Tijuana last season, faced off against each other as they debuted at their new clubs. Castillo (wearing No. 1) started for Atlas and Gomez came late in the game for Tigres in their 0-0 draw. Jose Torres also started for Tigres.
