[VIDEO PICK: Off the Post] Polish goalkeeper Richard Zajac will be haunted by this one for a while -- and his teammates may never trust him with a back pass again. Zajac figured he could lob Maciej Makuszewski only to smack him in the face, and you can guess where the ball ended up.

Zajac’s blunder resulted in TS Podbeskidzie’s 1-0 loss to Lechia Gdansk in Polish league play.

But one always has to also consider why a team loses. Sure, this is a soft goal, a real blunder and unnecessary blooper. But the game was only lost by one goal. And the scoreline was 1-0. So that means this GK's 10 teammates in front of him couldn't produce a goal for 90 minutes. When a team cannot score, well, it is either a tie or a loss. Either way, it is not a win. So, bad as this is in the 28th minute, the real problem is no offensive output.
